On May 18, 2024, we participated in the 2024 Moohan Taekwondo Competition held at Forsyth High School in Cumming, Georgia. Every year, many taekwondo schools join this event. We had a total of 8 students competing in forms, breaking, and sparring.

The inside of the gym looks like this: there are a total of 7 rings set up, and many judges are getting ready for the competition. We heard from the organizer that the number of participants in this competition exceeded 500 competitors. Usually, our taekwondo demo 'Typhoon' team also participates, but this time, they did not join the event and only participated in individual matches.

Apen stood out the most at this competition. He participated as he is preparing for his black belt test. Although he showed signs of nervousness like the other kids, he performed with great confidence and broke all the boards accurately.

Our students participated in the competition and all achieved great results. Although every student must have been nervous and scared, it was truly meaningful to see them overcome those feelings, not give up, and give their best effort. Of course, none of this would have been possible without the support of our parents. We are incredibly grateful to all the parents who always support our students. It was a day full of thanks and appreciation

Lastly, let's explore why taekwondo competitions are important for kids, and then we'll watch a video doing the performances of the students who participated in this competition.
